There are only two Ferries run here. The ferry services 24 hours but with binding some fixed time. For this reason, although the ferry is available, the service is not. But you have a reservation option with the cost of BDT 1,000 only.

Managed to get ferry at 5.30PM in December, 2016. It takes around 20 minutes to cross the river. Ferry size is quite small.
