The place where you will feel like that you are back in either 80's or 90's. The place is always vibrant from dawn to dusk. A popular dine in place for Dhaka University students, specially the lunch and dinner is served within a very reasonable rate. Tea can be availed by spending only 1 tk. Every moment in here is to learn, enjoy and experience.

TSC cafeteria

If you visit TSC cafeteria around 12 am, you will find that hundreds of students already queuing for lunch but still one hour to go to start serving. The place has seating arrangement for 100 persons at a time. After getting bored by taking meal in hall canteen for years, students come here to take special test. Along with snacks items TSC cafeteria offer lunch and supper for the students with a menu that includes rice, dal and meat curries. You have to choose the set Manu in TSC cafeteria. People gather there in group and take their meal without any hustle bustle. If you are in late then you have to wait for 30 minutes. The menu can also vary in weekdays including feasts like Khichuri, Pulao and vegetables.

The food is found satisfactory with the quality of food, however has complains about quantity. Where every hall canteen offer you an unlimited rice and dal but here you have to pay for each plate of rice.

This is the heart of Dhaka University. All the students gather here to pass their off-period. They are seen singing, playing, chatting with each other with making a lot of fun. These memories will be always alive in their mind's eye. TSC become over crowded after the noon. All the student are about to come & most of they stay here till late night. The tea of the cafeteria is awosome & the foods also.

You will not find so much cheap food within the entire Bangladesh. I spent a good time there in my first year. I remember I always went there and I met with my friend, had addas there all day long. The food there is not that tasty, but the cheapest one. so I recommend you this don't need enough money then you can eat there I'd like the tea in our time it was only one take a pack up but I would like it I every day I drank more than 5 cup

The foods are cheap but the cumbersome process of ordering and getting your food will definitely wear you out. Not all the items on the menu is available all the time but overall a good place to grab a bite of snacks and kill some time.

The place is just wonderful. Its for mainly student and teachers of du but open for all civilians. You can get very cheap but healthy meal from here. If you come here don't forget to take a sip of '1 taka' tea
