Well worth a visit! There is some amazing historical architecture at Swayambhu, affectionately known as the "Monkey Temple". Just make sure you hold on tight to anything you carry and don't leave your backpack open. The monkeys are cheeky little thieves if they get half a chance! They even swipe from the vendors. Speaking of vendors, there are quite a few there so you can pick up some amazing souvenirs whilst you're there. Also great views of Kathmandu Valley. :)
