I did enjoy the trip. The wildlife, the views and the food where great. The facilities on the boat are ok but quite basic - the cabins are really small and instead of showers we had just washrooms.
If you want to experience the true beauty of the forest spend a few days here. Bring an experienced guide, binoculars, cruise the river by Launch.
Don't expect to see the Royal Bengal Tiger on your first day, because local reporting indicates that the tigers swim across the river during the night. You'll see a lot of deers, monkeys, birds during daylight.
It's a natural beauty to watch. This is the largest mangrove forest in the world. Must visit who come to visit Bangladesh. It's a real shame that Bangladesh government could make a safari park here. Touring sundarban with local tourist ship is cheap and pleasant. Never miss a chance to visit this place.
There is huge scope to improve tourism in this mangrove forest. The biggest advantage of this forest is rivers and canals which allow tourists to move around very easily and effectively. Professional tourism can attract large number of native and foreigners.
Highly recommend to visit Sundarban, full of huge forest and natural beauty. Preferable visit time i think the winter to avoid dryness and tiredness. But if you want to see the natural beauty of Sundarban, the trees, leaves, nature abd the scenic beauty the prefer to come rainy season. But the place is too awesome.
Undoubtedly the best tourist place in the world. If you love nature and want to spend time in water you should plan vusiting this. Should spend at least 3 days to see all the tourist spot.
Except for the sea being littered, it's a nice place to visit. Watch out for Tigers though, those suckers can sneak up on you. Plus snakes. Be careful of those snakes. Better to follow the armed forest rangers advice. Don't touch anything, and definitely don't eat anything. It's safer to stay on the ships after dusk. Oh, watch out for crocodiles. They are mean af!

Great Place In Bangladesh. The creation of a beautiful ALLAH is very beautiful.
I traveled with the Guided Tours, for a four day trip (three nights on the boat). I love the mangroves and this is really a magical place. I went in my opinion at a perfect time. Since it's towards the end of the monsoons, it was still drizzling everyday on an off, and all the fresh water had collected in the sea. I was swimming in the ocean but it tasted sweet, no hint of saltiness - the experience was crazy! It'll turn salty again in a month. Mud bathing was great and walking through knee deep mud for an hour to come across around 70 deer all at once was well worth it. The morning boat rides were amazing, and if you're a bird watcher, you're in for an absolute treat! The wildlife is amazing and fauna and foliage diverse and beautiful. Please visit while it's still there.
