This is an organization especially for orphaned and abandoned children who have no one caring for. Orphaned/abandoned children get a chance to grow up in a loving home under the care of an SOS Mother. Very good organization in Bangladesh!

The Village was formally opened by the then President of the People's Rebuplic of Bangladesh - Mohammad Ullah on 10th February 1974.

SOS Children's Village Dhaka is formed with 15 family houses. The houses are divided into three wings. Each wing consists of 5 houses and each house contains 8 to 10 children - boys and girls of different ages. The Village is well equipped with social amenities and educational facilities through which children are having experience of happy childhood.
