Just horrible! The poorest museum management of the planet. Many precious objects of historical and cultural importance are left open for visitors' personal experience . People are touching, rubbing, nailing, opening objects, inscriptions according to their sweet will! Historical mud pot were seen filled with snacks-packet, plastic bottle, and with every available wastage. And dust- Soon another archaeological excavation will require to detect the objects kept open at the museum. Nobody to look after. People who are in charge of the museum are more busy in selling, and displaying cheap show pieces, garment items happily while the real museum objects were crying at every human interfere. Please save the "Troy" from "Toy"!!!

Fully natural, quiet, historical and green environment. Basically you gay choose this place for friend and family tour of holidays. Not more expensive not more far from capital city of Dhaka, you can choose by bus or car for transportation.

A beautiful place, and definitely a must-visit if you’re a new traveller in Dhaka. It’s a bit mismanaged (like most public exhibits in Bangladesh), but still worth the journey to learn more about Bangladeshi culture. It is home to several prestigious and historic artworks, jewellery, and structures.

One of the most visited and beautiful place in Bangladesh. Tourists main attraction is this place. There is a folk museum which was founded by Jainul Abedin a great painter of Bangladesh. Though this is a good place but management quality is not so good as we accept.

Sonargaon was the capital city of the ancient kingdom ruled by Isa Khan of Bengal. It is a historical place. It is an example of a Moghul Palace and old museum. It was also an administrative centre of Fakhruddin Mubarak Shah's sultanate, the Bengal Sultanate and the Kingdom of Bhati. Now it is a museum. Need renovation.
