This is the resort built by writer : Humayan Ahmed sir & here he wrote down many of his well knowed books. Such a wonderful place to stay. The most important thing is it’s located by the beach & so you get the beach view easily. Visit this place even once when you visit to Saint Martin island. Don’t miss.

Somudro Bilash is the nature of st.martin & it also known as house of Humayun Ahmed sir. When he was alive he went there only for once. Now this is a cottage for tourist. You can see sea beach from this cottage. it is nearer to sea. I went their in 2012. I hope i will go there again.

Excellent place for enjoying holiday in Saint Martin . The resort Somudro Bilash established by the great writer Humayon Ahmed. He buy the place for enjoy sea beach for own self only. After his death this is now a commercial rest house. Service is so good . Food also good . After all I enjoy a lot.

The location of the resort is ideal. It is right next to the main beach, it has restaurants nearby plus the jetty and the main bazaar is not too far off. The staff are friendly. But what is very evident is that this hotel used to be very beautiful. They've not kept up the maintenance of the hotel. Their main reception & dining area is not useable. Toilets are not very clean. Sheets are not clean. The water in the bathroom has a slight smell to it and you can see some solid dirt. And be careful of the mice they stole our candle.

Very simple but nice outlooking, very near to the Beach. The owner of this resort is Late- Dr. Humayun Ahmed (May Allah present him the most comfortable place in the Heavens), the most renowned Bangladeshi writer in the modern age. The most piculiar matter of the resort is that the caretaker of this resort is a one eyed and lame man.
