Very popular place for the visitors. Historical, well environment, much pretty to say. I loved the place at my first visit and I continue my visit every time when I go home
The place is a nice picnic spot for the visitors. It's crowded almost all day long. Though the museum isn't much resourceful as it used to be. Because many resources have been transferred to the National Museum in Dhaka. But there are still many interesting things to see.
A typical monument of old architecture is sompur bihara. It is assumed that it is caused by a severe cyclone. It is formed in the dust. If there is a monastery, then there are many signs of Buddha available. I love this place
Wow! Greatest in Bangladesh. The ruins of Mahayana Buddhist Monastery of 8th Century. Its architecture reveals the Buddhist concept of the universe Mandala. How great was the system of education was in the early ages. It feels great visiting that historical site.

The best way to visit any ancient structure or relic is to get back to that TIME mentally. Otherwise it will have no appeal to you. If you go there, please visit the museum adjacent to it.
