Very busy place. A historical one too. different types of water vehicles are available here for the transportation of goods and people. This ghat area is very congested and dirty. This portion of the Buriganga river is also totally polluted but this fact doesn't reduce it's importance at all. Among these all hustle and bustle you can find a very different aspect of life.

A Ferry Ghat of Dhaka.People can cross the river through boat to move opposite side GINGIRA & a lot of locat boat move from here. There is a local fish market which is very busy & one of the largest fishing market in the county at Showari Ghat

Famous and oldest launch terminal / river port / business hub in old Dhaka city area. Located beside Buriganga river which was very very beautiful once upon a time. Lots of peoples are gathering daily here specially for business purpose.

Too much crowded place. Very important and usage entrance and leave gate ever i see. Around of this place's beauty so much beautiful. Specially kamrangir cor with beauty of river's water, joining of two canal in one. Really wonderful place for tour and passing a good memorable time.

It's one of the important and busy place in the Dhaka city. It's a place where people cross the river for going to their work , home district and other respective place. There is also a fish market beside it where good number of big and fresh fish are sold. Though it's a important and busy place the environment of this area is not so good. There is rubbish here & there which should be put under control.

A major fish landing jetty of Dhaka city. Every morning traders buy fish in bulk from fishermen and carry them to all the markets of the city for retail sellers eho in turn sell yo the consumers. A hustling and bustling place indeed. Business starts before sunrise and continues till midnight. Fish trading usually ends by 7am. But there are other businesses which keep the place alive all day. There are ferry boats waiting for people who want to get to the other side or Sadarghat.

beside the mighty Buriganga river it's one of the oldest boat terminal. it's a beautiful place. you can see hundreds of boats and other water vehicle over here. it's important not only for people transportation but also for business purpose.

A town port area for local people which is used as business purpose. the area is crowded and not ideal for free roaming, especially for foreign people. Biggest wholesale market of Bangladesh called Chawk Bazar was established centering it so that people can transport from one place to another.
