This is a place where i would visit when i don't have work. There is no sound of people here. only the beautiful environment makes the sounds😌.

রাজকন্যা অভয়া রাজা নীলকন্ঠ রায়ের কাছে আবদার করলেন, দেবতা শিব কে আরাধনা করেই বাকি জীবন কাটিয়ে দিতে চান!
বিধবা কন্যার আবদার রাজা ফেলতে পারলেন না! রাজার ভগ্ন হৃদয়ে স্থাপন করে দিলেন একটি নয় এগারটি শিব মন্দির! নগরের নাম দিলেন, অভয়নগর! এটা কোন রুপকথা নয়, বাস্তব সত্য! ভৈরব নদের তীরে এখনও দাঁড়িয়ে আছে সেই স্থাপনা!
এভাবেই হয়েছিলো বাংলাদেশের যশোর জেলার এক অনবদ্য শিব মন্দিরের স্থাপনা! এটি শুধুমাত্র একটি সুন্দর মন্দির নয়, এতো বড়ো জায়গা নিয়ে এতগুলো মন্দির বাংলাদেশে দ্বিতীয় কোথাও নেই!
ভেংগেচুরে প্রায় ধ্বংসহয়ে গিয়েছিলো মন্দিরটি। সম্প্রতি সরকার সংস্কারের উদ্যোগ নিয়েছে! প্রথম ধাপের সংস্কারকাজ শেষ হয়েছে! দ্বিতীয় ধাপের কাজ শেষ হলে এটি তার অনিন্দ্যসুন্দর কারুকাজ নিয়ে মাথা উচু করে দাঁড়াবে- প্রত্যাশা!
কিভাবে যাবেনঃ যশোর অথবা খুলনা থেকে নওয়াপাড়ার নুরবাগ খেয়াঘাট দিয়ে নদী পার হয়ে ভাড়ায় চালিত মটরসাইকেল এ সিংগাড়ী হয়ে ভাটপাড়া দিয়ে অভয়নগর!response / report this review -

This place have a great value to Hindu people ,this place is being used as a temple since 1800s .the temple is dedicated to shiv a Hindu god ..

Chachra Shib Temple is a 17th century built temple that is located at the Chachra of Jessore district. It is located exactly beside the Jessore-Benapol highway. This is a two stored Shiva temple that is having a single Rotno basically the second store at the top.
The Chagra Rajbari is located just four kilometers away from Chaldeha Union Parishad of Jessore Sadar Police Station. The temple of Chagra Shiva is an 'eight-chala' type of temple. The style of 'eight-chalha' is a special type of architecture of the temple of Bengal, where another small 'Chow-Chala' roof is constructed on the 'Chu-Chala' roof of a square or rectangular pregnant house. This Shiva temple has three entrances to the front entrance and is decorated with terracotta plaques in front of the temple.response / report this review -
