Very attractive convention centre suitable for big celebration in Dhaka. Attached with Sena Kunjo. But approach from Airport Road is its unique advantage for civilians. At a time about 500 guests may be served food. Adequate Lift and escalator. Parking facilities sufficient.

This community center has one of the biggest area among Dhaka City those I have visited in recent years. Nice surrounded with internal decorations. But catering services was below average in my experience.

It was an amazing Experience, as concerns of the safety security and cleanliness it was quite high standard as it was with the army cantonment. There were three levels of floors where separate Ceremonies can be performed at a time, the second level happens to be more beautiful. There are seperate Hand wash rooms and the washrooms are clean. There are VIP Rooms. There is a huge Car parking area.

It's a great venue for arranging family events. Ambiance is very good & as its service is monitored by the Bangladesh Army amenities are good. Food quality is good. But for a corporate event it's not a good place as there is too many restrictions for arranging an event. If u don't have a car then u will face trouble in going home

Good place for arranging big events to accommodate 1000-2000 people. Specially for weddings and receptions. Has good interior. Service is good too. Only bad thing about this place is that there are mosquitoes sometimes due to the area and weather. But that can be reduced if it's properly maintained.

It's a very big place run by armed forces . There are 2 ( or 3 ) hall rooms ( maybe ) and those are quite big . It can take up to 2000 people at a time.
"Shena Malancha" is one of the most gorgeous and best places for having a party for any ceremony and It's reputation is very high. There are plenty of place inside that community centre and the halls are big enough. So anyone can enjoy a good environment. The halls are well designed and it can also be decorated according to the needs and purpose. It's 2 stored building and the upper level is very high. Specially, there is a garden, a parking lot. There people can also riam around. There food is very good as they have one of the best chiefs in my view. They have an excellent discipline. The whole convention centre is lighted well with colourful lights.
The geographical location of "Shena Malancha" is so good that any foreign or local person can easily come or go there from airport. The driveway of that place is so beautiful. It's located at the heart of Dhaka. One can enjoy the natural environment of Dhaka while going there. It's near the cantonment area.response / report this review -

Awesome convention center in Dhaka city.It's just wow.Interior decoration is outstanding.It's very clean and has lots of parking facility as well as security.Washroom is also very neat and clean.Catering service is good and well disciplined.It has elevator facility.It has escalator lift.Outdoor view is nice with it's long area.

a very good iconic community hall for wedding or reception program. this has been situated inside Dhaka cantonment which is usually restricted for general people or civilian. pretty much expensive and hard to find for civilian apart from the army person. the decoration, design, interior are very good designed and highly spacious.

Nice, large place for social gathering. Adequate space for a considerable amount of public gathering with sufficient car parking. Nice fountain in the entrance. But a live railway track is in front of the center, which demands public attention while passing for entering or during exit from the community space. A bit costly place. Escalator is present there with separate space for vip dine in.

One of the most desired Community Centres in Dhaka.
Pros:
1. Huge space ; vast parking area .
2. Arrangement is beyond description.
3.Food is superb.
4. Very much Clean and hygienic.
5. Table service is better than any other.
Cons:
1. Availability is not ensured.

This has really big area. But its useless. A huge area is decorated for a program. But people usually stay inside the hall. But its really beautiful.

The army-owned community hall is great in terms of facilities, and decorations. It's a multi-storied hall that can host over thousand of guests. Sitting arrangements are very good. Parking space is very organized. The place is quite expensive and often requires recommendations from army personnel for arranging any programs.

Such a beautiful place. The decoration of both outdoor and indoor is equally praiseworthy. And the fountain in front of it makes it look more classy.
Wide and spacious. Absolutely loved the food. Stuffs are very well behaved and the management is nice.

I heard so many times of this name. Today while I am going to Chittagong from Dhaka, I get opportunity to see it from train just a glance. There are no doubt it's have big space. It can be rented by any rich person for wedding or party.

A multipurpose convention complex at Dhaka Cantonment run by army. Excellent location, large parking place for more than hundred vehicles, with high security arrangements. Civilians are also welcome here.

It has got a great location, huge parking space and super interior design.

A very good place for large social gatherings. Recommended for weddings, corporate events etc. Holidays and weekends are mostly preferred, so plan and book early. Parking is huge. Staffs are very cordial and friendly. The place is also very safe as it is inside Dhaka cantonment. However the problem is, there’s no bus stop nearby and the road nearby doesn’t allow Rickshaws, so, people who don’t own a car find pretty hard to get here.
