Great amusement park in Bangladesh. It is a great attraction mainly for kids. There's a big space and many rides are available. Tickets are much cheaper than the other amusement parks situated in Bangladesh. People of all ages-class come here to entertain themselves and spend quality time with their family. Currently it's temporarily closed for renovation since 2019. Hope it will reopen soon.

ঢাকা শিশু পার্ক is the only public sector children's amusement park in Shahbag, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Established in 1979 on 15-acre (61,000 m2) of land, it is the first children's amusement park in Bangladesh. Established as a profit making venture by Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation, the government-owned tourism promotion agency in Bangladesh, it is maintained by Dhaka City Corporation as its only entertainment park since 1983.

Good entertaining place for kids..
A park with lots of rides (some of them are destroyed because of lack of proper maintenance) and free space's too. All classes of people can have a get together here. Rides are cheaper then other park in dhaka.

The Shahbag Children Park located in the heart of Dhaka city is also known as Shaheed Zia Shishu Park or Dhaka Shishu Park. In 1979, 'Shaheed Zia Shishu Park' was established. The country's first schoolchildren, founded in the public sector for children's entertainment, started its journey from 1983 as an entertainment center.
Dhaka City Corporation, under the Local Government Ministry, is responsible for maintaining the park, which is being developed on 15 acres of land under the initiative of Bangladesh Tourism Corporation. The child park has 12 riders. There is a toy train, a round Mary go round ride and multiple wheel rides. In 1992, a jet jet was given in favor of Bangladesh Air Force on behalf of this park.
Six riders are allowed to use every raid at 8 rupees. The park is open every Friday from 03/07/07. Without Sundays, the rides are open from Saturday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 7.00pm. There is more than six thousand people coming to this school in Dhaka every day. ❤❤

Still one of the best places in Dhaka city to bring your kids to have some great times. The place hasn't changed a little over the years or so and the attractions are still the same that was for me almost 40 years back. Our kids still enjoyed it with the same enthusiasm that we did. Shishu Park is a place for children officially. But unofficially and mostly it's a gathering place for all ages. It's a wonderful place beyond description. In our daily mechanical lives when we're too tired of everything around us, then places like this can offer such tremendous peace to heart that can never be comprehend by mere words. This place offers Fun Rides for the children. There are Magic Carpet, Bumping Car, Flying Jet, Trampoline, Merry-go-round etc. This place is not that expensive. This is one of the places you should visit if you're ever in Dhaka.

As this is a government park,so the rides are quite reasonable so people can go there with their kids easily.
Rides are well maintained,though there should be some more rides.
The place is neat & clean.
But the food inside in there is the worst.they are tasteless & overpriced.

Best budget accommodation for kids in Dhaka. The park is primarily for the kids but almost all rides can be enjoyed by the adults too. Has restaurants and fastfood shops inside it. The only downside is that to get into a ride you will have to be in a long queue.

Country's first theme park. A perfect open air amusement park for children built in the 80's. Once it was a must visit place for children and adults of that time. Some big rides though there is no roller coaster. Ferris wheel, Toy train and Merry go round are the most popular ones. Earlier they had more rides but it reduced later. Wide space to walk around and some resting benches. Usually remain crowded in holidays as the ticket prices are low. Huge littering are seen on the grass which looks awful, visitors should be more responsible.

The Shishu Park is the oldest theme park in the country. It is run by the government. There's a lot of rides here, but most of them are old as the park itself. The governing body doesn't seem to be bothered about renovating the park or bringing new rides. The price here is quite cheap, so people of all class visit here. It's a good place for refreshments.

Shishu Park is a theme park run by the governmental department of Bangladesh. This is the oldest theme park with various rides in Dhaka city. With the time there were lots of theme parks established and developed but "Shishu Park" remains same with all its machines as it was established. Though it is a good place to bring young kids and hang around with friends and family for refreshments. If government wants then it may become a world class theme park of the region.

Bangladesh Air Force donated a fighter jet in 1992. The cheapest of all entertainment parks in Dhaka, charging BDT 8.00 for entry and 6.00 for each ride, it draws about 6,000 visitors a day.

Best place for kids to pass holidays and enjoy. The price of rides is cheap. Though number of rides is really few. This park needs to be improved and needs better management.
