Small airport of Rajshahi. But runway is too long. Not so clean. Boarding and departure formalities doing well. 20 minutes away from Rajshahi city. Not up to mark as a domestic airport.

Shah Makhdum Airport is the primary airport serving the city. Environment of this airport is clean and green. It is named after the Islamic preacher Hazrat Shah Makhdum (Rh.) is situated a short distance away from Rajshahi city and near of Nawhata pourosova.
Domestic flights from Dhaka and Saidpur are available. I expect that this airport will be an international airport in future.response / report this review -

Quite neat and clean. Now the secuirity system is also automatic. Machines are used. Still the runway is ver small than the airport of dhaka. So the landing portion is very disturbing as a good amount of brake is required..

Don't forget to take permission for the foreigners. Every foreigner require permission from local government law enforcement. Otherwise the officer will take all the information and contact with you for security reasons. They provides very excellent service.

It's a very important Airport in Rajshahi Division. But unfortunately this Airport can operate flights for very limited time. Although there is a high demand to have flights in the morning and evening.

Very small airport. Only a couple of flights are operating from this airport but still it is neat and clean. Security check in system is manual and take a bit of extra time after getting boarding pass.

Nice, cozy, tiny. Only for domestic flight. Moderately close to city. Very basic: don't expect anything fancy. Runway is small, be prepared for a hard break after landing.

Although all the amenities are not world class and a bit shabby look for a regional airport of Rajshahi divisional headquarter, this airport serves a great purpose for internal flight communication with the northern part of the country.
