  Satkhira Govt. Polytechnic Institute, Satkhira is the Modern Polytechnic Institute in Bangladesh. It is the only one Govt. Mid-Level Engineering Institution in Satkhira. It was established in 2002 .
  Satkhira Govt. Polytechnic Institute operates under the executive control of the ministry of education, Government of the people's Republic of Bangladesh acting through the Directorate of Technical Education. The academic programs, however, function under the regulation of the Bangladesh Technical Education Board , Agargaon, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Dhaka -1215.
  
  Satkhira Polytechnic Institute is one of the renowned technical institute of bangladesh. This is located just beside the Satkhira Jessore road in labsha union parishad. It has a large campus having one Academic building, one Administration building and two workshop building. At present more than 1000 student are involved in this institute. In four technologies in different semister under Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB). And the student of Computer Technology,after completion of Diploma in Engineering, now engaged in different reputed organaization of Bangladesh. This institute is established in 2006 and within five years of its establishment. The result of Diploma in Engineering is remarkable of Satkhira Polytechnic Institute.
  The Institute now offers courses in 4 Year Diploma-In-Engineering in four technologies.
  1. Computer.
  2. Electronic.
  3. Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
  4. Environmental.
