  Birth place of modern Bengali poet Michael Madhusudhan Datta who first introduced sonnet in Bengali poetry. Located at a distance of about 90 Km. from Jessore town.
  
  Michael Madhusudan Dutt (Datta) is is a famous Bengali poet and dramatist (19th century) who born in the village Sagardari, Keshabpur Upozila under Jessore District.
  Michael Madhusudan Dutt Born on 25 January 1824 and died June on 29, 1873 when he was 49. His Nationality was Bangladeshi. He he is one of the great poets of the Bengali language.
