Nari Police Kalyan Sangstha President Shamsunnahar Rahman, Tangail Deputy Commissioner Khan Mohammad Nurul Amin, DIG of Dhaka Range Shafiqul Islam, SP Mahbub Alam, Tangail Municipality Mayor Jamilur Rahman Miron and district Awami League President Fazlur Rahman Faruque attended the programme.

Laser show, fireworks and cultural function were arranged on the occasion.

After sunset, locals did not dare to walk past the area for fear of mugging, while rickshaw pullers and auto-rickshaw drivers refused to take passengers there.

The district administration conducted drives in September last year to remove illegal structures on the banks of the Louhajang river, but the land grabbers returned.

SP Park is a place for recreation where leisure times with family & friends can be passed with satisfaction. Although, there is no ride available here, but, there are kids zone and well decorated pavement. That park is also suitable place for couples where they can spend their time without any chance of harm. The park is free for all and stays open 24 hrs.

SP Park is a awesome place in tangail city. Many people are there do morning walk or evening walk and some people sitting the park bench with enjoying the natural view of SP Park. Starting point and ending point special for kids playground and many beautiful rides available there. All over very beautiful place in Tangail.

It is a very good recreation center for the kids as well as people of all ages. At Tangail, it is just Kid's heaven. It is on the bank of Louhojong river, just behind the Police Line School, at North-West side of Tangail city. There is a huge space for jogging. The place is safe as it is maintained by police. It is better place than Tangail DC Lake. You can go there by easy bike, rickshaw as for public transport.
