Full of corruption! Even if you try to stay aware you won't be able to get away from there corrupted spider web! Dalals have special contract with the stuff inside!even if you try to stay away from the corruption you won't be able to! My suggestion is if you want your job done get a dalal at the very first or don't get one at all! But always research 1st which would be better for you!

Employees of passport office are pretty good. The Ansar's behaviour is like a bandit. Don't bribe anyone of them unless you go there before your appointment schedule. Here are some tips that are not given on the website.
1. Bring a counselor certificate if you are living in a rental apartment otherwise don't bother.
2. Don't go there before 9:20 as the office doesn't open before then and do not wait in the queue outside of the office because they will call you up according to your appointment schedule.
3. Don't bribe your verification officers as it is totally unnecessary.
4. Visit your passport office to get your passport only if you get a confirmation message.
To sum up, please do not misbehave with the employees although there are lot problem's and i blame this to government authority instead of them. Thank you and best of luck.😊

House of corruption, Dalals are everywhere. Though it is possible to get e-passport without paying any Dalal if you go early and cling with the queues, (at first 405 for seal of the officer, pious(I think the only person without corruption) then 403 for enrolling,after biometrics you will be given a delivery slip) but it takes time. On the other side of the road,there are computer shops offering various services with a high rate. They can instantly pay your passport fee with A-challan in online. Also they can give you scheduled passport application within that day(because they somehow book the appointment date by applying prior 2-3 months). If you have minor mistake and it is your 1st e passport, don't worry,just correct it while you go for biometrics (403). For MRP passport holders,affidavit is needed to change anything in e passport. It is quite easy if there is no mistake in your application, just go early and get it done. There is a prayer room for male in the ground floor and 103 for female. In 2nd floor there are 2 lavatories.

From gulistan take a bus of mawa they will break just beside the passport office. Office environment is cool but it’s a remote area no food no photocopy so make your preparation accordingly . Online application process faster . No broker at all .Office staff are very slow . People comes with wrong documents and suffer. Office opens at 9am .
Below Documents needed for new passport

1)2 copies Passport application form printed on both side (single side print no acceptable )

2) Attested on both passport form first and last page . With proper information of the attestee on the last page.

3) 2 copies Voter Id or Bitth Certificated attested

4) For kids make sure you take a 3R Size Photo.

5) 2 copies Present address electric bill attested

6) Take all the original documents with you so when asked you can show.

7) Include the paymeny slip on top of form by gum

You are done it’s easy to fill up the form on line .There are lots of YouTube video available there .

This is a corrupt passport office. The office staffs will create unnecessary hassles. But the place located in a very nice & quite place and have rooftop coffee shop.. I have gone from Khilgaon to Postogoal by Ridha Bus (25tk), then Postogola to RPO (30Tk).

The Factory of Corruption!
One of the worst places that you will visit in your life! Such a disgrace

The place located in a very nice & quite place. One of easiest routes:
- Jatrabari to Jurain by leguna (10tk)
- Jurain to RPO by local CNG (30tk)
The distance is small and the road is free as well.

Take all the important & unimportant offline and online documents with you and photocopies too as much as you can. The photocopy stores will just rob you otherwise.

The office staffs will create unnecessary hassles. But don't get nervous. Be confident and patient. And be honest to yourself and don't contact any "DALALS".

Finally, if any of the officers or staffs reading this: you know I really feel pity for you guys since in the afterlife you guys are going have a hard time InshAllah.

It is hard to believe how under staffed and corrupt this office is. Any office as such is a disgrace to the nation.
The choice of location is simply disgusting. It's too far from population center with limited to no public transportation.
The design of the office building has no similarly to the work process of the office as well. People has to go through multiple lines for one service.

Manpower implementation is another joke. Even with the limited manpower they could easily create 10 parallel lines. Or they could just employ proper token service system through their website that they already have.

If govt increases the passport fee by 100 taka, they could easily employ more staff and reduce wait time. It is just a matter of choice.

Frankly I would give zero stars if I could

A very important place for preparing passports for going abroad. Firstly this passport office was established in Rayer Bagh, Sanir Akhra. Few years ago this office is newly re established in Jhilmil Residential Area, Keraniganj besides Mawa Express Highway.

This passport office located very good position. It is wide space, officers are capable to do this job as faster. Have parking space without any charge.

New RPO for the residents of it's jurisdiction. Not much crowded and somewhat smooth operations. There is a canteen on the 3rd floor porch area. Until today this office building is nice and clean with large wide area around. The only problem is the roads are very bumpy and dusty. The road communication need to be improved.

Supportive stuffs, but inefficient. Applying for a new passport could take up around 3hrs. They can run a cafeteria inside as a lot of people come here everyday and there's no good grocery shop around. Also, the facility is not senior citizen/wheelchair friendly.

ফরম পূরন করার সময় উভয় পৃষ্টাতেই পূরন করতে হবে এবং কোন পেইজ খালি রাখা যাবে না। নিচের ছবিগুলো তে যে নোটিশ আছে। তা সঠিক ভাবে পড়ুন।

This office is in a very good location. But it is too far from the center of Dhaka City. Before you go there you must make your papers ready & check them properly. All the copies of the form must be arrested. The form should fill up properly.

People should visit there with food and water with them as have to wait around 5 to 6 hours from early morning. Big issue is serial not maintained by authority properly, they found biased in case of maintaining serial. Because of that some dalal breaking the serial which takes more time for ordinary people to finish the process. Should introduce electronic token system to maintain serial as soon as possible like other passport office. Other than that everything seems fine.

The worst passport office I ever visited. Earlier I visited Uttara and Agargaon office and found first one quite disciplined. Agargaon office seems a bit crowdy and it takes huge time to submit application form and process biometric (In many cases whole day).

Its such an unfortunate that Jatrabari Regional Passport office located at Jilmil Project is the worst one where each staffs including Security Guard are just inhuman. They do not know how to behave with people and seems quite rude in all perimeter of mannerism. Even though its a public department born for serving people from all walks of life, I found those public servant more than dustbin garbages. They do not know what Public Service means and how they should serve people.

I hereby would like to draw the attention of higher and concerned authority and personally I will report back to Prime Minister Office regarding this issues.

Way better than the old RAYERBAG office. Environment is better. But their service is poor. They are very slow at their work. So you should go early and stand in line.

First you can go to Postogola and then get on a CNG ( fare per person is 20 TK ) that will take you to the gate of PASSPORT OFFICE.

They're very slow, slow and slow. Plz take some food and water wid you. If u have children's wid you, then you must carry food and water. They'll not allow you to go outside and get foodstuffs. Though there's no hotel and fastfood kinda shopss. So, foods gonna be very important things.

You must have fill up online form. Or they'll fill up for you. But gonna paid lots of time for that.

After that its a nice place and far better than old one.

Very easy to come. Reach KODOMTOLI and get a CNG by 20 taka(per person).

Big space and nice environment. No DALAL was seen here.
