  Regional passport office lakshmipur situated behind the Lakshmipur Terminal. Its a old building and the new building has been building behind of old building.

  Regional passport office of Lakshmipur district. This is temporary building for passport office, passport office new building almost completed. New office building from old building 300 metres distance. Office services something better from another passport office. Is all conditions and system as like passport ministry.

  Prior to the machine-readable passport, Bangladesh was one of the few last remaining countries to still issue handwritten passports. In 2010, the Bangladesh government announced to replace over 6.6 million handwritten passports with the new machine-readable passports. According to a guideline of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), machine-readable passport (MRP) and machine-readable visa (MRV) issuance was started by the Bangladesh government in April 2010. However, all traditional handwritten passports were honored as bona fide travel documents issued by the Bangladesh government until they expired. All traditional handwritten passports were successfully withdrawn from circulation before ICAO's international deadline of November 2015.
  
  As Bangladesh moved from handwritten passports to machine-readable passports, the Bangladeshi government in 2016 announced its plans to soon introduce the issuance of biometric passports for all its citizens, which would ease immigration and increase visa-free access worldwide for Bangladeshi passport holders. Bangladesh’s new ePassport will be provided by German based identity solutions provider Veridos along with 50 eGates by the end of December 2018.

  আঞ্চলিক পাসর্পোট অফিস, লক্ষ্মীপুর, নতুন বাস টার্মিনাল। এই পাসর্পোট অফিসে নতুন পাসপোর্ট করা, পুরাতন পাসর্পোট রিনিউ করা, পাসর্পোট সংশোধন করা হয়। সরকারের নির্ধারিত ফি ছাড়াও এই অফিসের কর্মকর্তা গন ঘুষ ছাড়া কাজ করেন না। তারা মানুষের সাথে খুভই খারাপ আচরন করে। এমনকি এখানের পুলিশ কর্মকর্তারাও ঘুষের বিনিময়ে কাজ করে। সরকারের উর্ধতন কর্মকর্তাদের হস্তক্ষেপ কামনা করছি।

This passport office is making new passports, renewing old passports, rectifying passport .In addition to the government-fixed fee, the official of this office does not work without bribe. They are badly behaved with people. Even the police officers here also work for bribe. I want intervention of senior officials of the government
