Nice railway station.

The most attractive railway station. Most of some intercity and all local, Mail, Comuter train are stop there. You can go to dhaka, dinazpur etc city From this station. Also has some food shop like as- Tea stall, cake, biscuits, banana etc you can get from here. Also as a natural weather, many kind papers f people are going there for passing time. This station founded befor 1971, When Bangladesh was in acquired independence. After acquired independence, Bangladesh government has taken many step to create a model rail station in rangpur City..

Main reilway station Rangpur City. It is a old railway station. This station connect Dhaka, lalmonihat, parbotipur and othet railway station. You will find intercity, mail and local train here.

Rangpur express just crossed Airport railway station
Rangpur was conquered by the army of Raja Man Singh, a commander of the Mughal emperor, Akbar, in 1575, but it was only until 1686 that it was fully integrated into the Mughal Empire. Place names such as Mughalbasa ('Mughal locality') and Mughalhat('Mughal market') bear testimony to the Mughal association and past of Rangpur and its hinterland. Later on, Rangpur passed under the control of "Sarker" of Ghoraghat. During the period of the British East India Company, the Sannyasi Rebellion took place.response / report this review -

Oldest railway station of north Bengal. During British era, This rail station was the main connecting route with greater Rangpur. Old Rangpur city was evolved around this station. Now, the station is far from modern Rangpur city. Once Dhaka bound Akota and Tista intercity train were the sole mean to get to Dhaka. Both the trains had long halt stoppage in Rangpur rail station.

Rngpur Railway station! People travel by train can easily got on a train.this is Railway station which is quiet zone and at the night this is more quiet.

Age old railway station. As a division level railway station it should be developed much. Waiting rooms and washrooms should be cleaner. I found no booking clerk inside the ticket/booking rooms till 9:15 am although there was a chart showing ticket booking time starts at 8 am.
