If you ever visit Ramu, you should visit this temple first. The CNG or auto driver will not want to take you there but tell them that you want to visit that first anyhow.

Ramu, Coxs Bazar is a village with an excellent charm of its own which is spread here in the form of monasteries, temples and various Buddhist Mondir. various monasteries and Buddhist temples where you would see statues and images of Buddha in gold, bronze and various other metals and studded with precious stones.
Its a place of historical interest. Many ancient buddhist relics of the time of Shamrat Ashoka are stored over here.
It is an important and holy place for Buddhist. There is an Orphanage beside this which is run by an cristian father.
You can get here from the near by station called Chowmohoni by rickshaw or electric tricycle.
