Ramgarh Police Station was established in1905. It has an area of 240.87 square kilometer with a population of 44217 as per 1991 Bangladesh Census. It borders to the north Matiranga Police Station, to the south Manikchari and Lakshmichari Police Stations, to the east Mahalchari Police Station and to the west Fatikchari Police Station of Chittagong Tripura Province of India. It comprises of one municipality, 03 Union Councils, 12 mouzas and 90 villages. It has one Camp – Nakapa.
