This Shaheed Minar, situated in the east side if the main administration building, is one of Rajshahi's finest architecture. The Shaheed Minar has four white colored pillars. The area of Shaheed Minar is little bit large. One of the most important architectures in Rajshahi University.

The Shahid Minar are one of the greatest architect of University of Rajshahi designed by Murtaja Bashir.Banghabanshu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman laid its foundation stone in 1972. There is a Muktomancha (open stage) beside of Shahid Minar for cultural organisations to carry out their cultural activities.

This is a very important public University not only in Rajshahi city but also in Bangladesh. It has a great historical importance in Bangladesh. A lot of sxholars of this country studied here. I like this place . I am a student of law department of Dhaka university. . It is situated at the central place of Rajshahi city. I t has a very good campus. The government should more initiative to ameliorate its honour and dignity . The students proud who studied here. There are a lot of departments and residential hall to stay. It has a glorious history in liberation war. In 1971 to build the nation. Wishing a gold historical journey if it. I hope it Will contribute more in future for the building if the soceity.
A lot of students study here. I love to visit thid campus very much . A lot of people come here to visit regularly . A lot of occasion and festival held here regularly.

historical place. the corner stone of the memorial was laid by Sheikh Mujibur Rahman; the father of the nation. it was founded to commemorate the deceased heroes of the liberation war of Bangladesh; 1971.
in order to show respect, one must take off the shoes before ascending the stairs to the memorial.
