It is a very small local rail station. It was established mainly for the students of Rajshahi University. I found the ticket selling booths closed even though a train stopped by for just a minute. However, in the evening hours, the place becomes crowded with people and students chatting over cups of tea.

Railway station for Rajshahi University. Small but beautiful. Facilities are below average like other rail stations of the country.

Small but beautiful railway station. Many tiny restaurants and shops are beside this station. It would have been more useful if the intercity trains halt here.
