The zoo is more like a combination of a theme park, a botanical garden and a zoo. It's clean, offers rides to children, have a small collection of animals and birds, and have a picnic spot.

The best thing about it is its natural beauty. Some creative and beautiful sculptures are located inside the zoo and you will notice a few free rides.

The entry fee is cheap and it's not crowded (till today). Some hawkers will ask you to buy nuts for squirrel and these squirrels roam in the zoo freely. The zoo has a large number of deers and a few monkeys that entertain kids and adults alike.

You will need 2 hours to complete your tour inside the zoo and I have noticed that 3-5 pm is the best timeslot to do so.

It is one of the best picnic spot in this city. Here ha a lake you can fishing i here. You can arrange picnic in here. Its a very nice place for picnic. Or u can pass your time with your family and friends in here at the afternoon, weather is nice. Yiu can't stay here after evenings.

I used to go there every now and then when I was young.. It has improved a lot since then.. the gate looks very beautiful now Thanks to Mr. kamaruzzamn liton.. he made this place and rajshahi a better place..

As much I loved feeding the monkey and that lonely deer that lives with the donkeys, I'm truly disappointed to see how horrible the management & hygiene of the zoo.
The enclosures are not cleaned, as a result they smell really bad. And you can't help feeling sorry for those animals who has no choice but to live there.
The Boat Ride and Ferris Wheel was pretty fun. But the ticket price could've been a little less.
