  Street shop, it was started in 1972 with used/ second hand cloths imported from USA, that time President of USA was Richard Milhous Nixon and the market was called “NIXON” market.

  This is famous for low price shopping. Normally rejected product from lot are sold here. But its actually a place for all. If you are looking for band along with the quality you should not be here. Its for a class of people who are belongs to middle class family or lower class family. The flaws of cloths don't bother them. Actually most of them,the don't understand the fault of clothes because to them,dresses are likely to be in this types..

  It is a market for used clothes comes as relief mainly from USA for the under privileged. As president Nixon started this initiative, it is called Nixon Market. However it not that "used clothes only" anymore. All kind of export quality readymade garments are also available here in reasonably low price. It is the hot favourite market in Khulna city for all levels and all ages.
