the place is my one of most favourite place. I have spent all my childhood in front of this place. You will find Rabindranath's memory hare. When I was a child I used to go there everyday and play with my friends but now there are so many restrictions for natives. Still now it's a nice place for learning and for fun. You and your family can spend a good time here.

The Rabindra Kachharibari রবীন্দ্র কাছারি বাড়ি or Rabindra Memorial Museum is a memorial of Nobel Laureate poet Rabindranath Tagore at Shahzadpur in Sirajganj district of Rajshahi Division, Bangladesh. It is famous for the memory of Nobel-laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The beauty of the village used to fascinate him much. He wrote many poems and novels when he used to stay here.
Background:
Shahzadpur is filled with the memory of the famous Nobel-laureate Rabindranath Tagore. Kumar Dwarakanath Tagore, grandfather of Rabindranath Tagore bought the estate of Shahzadpur at a price of Taka 13.10 when it was sold off at an auction in 1840. The Tagore family then acquired the Kachharibari, established on 8 bighas of land.
The great poet started to stay in Shahzadpur to oversee the administration of his father’s zamindari or assets. Rabindranath first came to Shahzadpur from Kolkata for supervision of the estate in 1890 when he was 28 years old. In the rainy season, Tagore moved by boat and in the dry season, he traveled in a palanquin. Rabindranath Tagore came to Shahzadpur several times between the years 1890 to 1895 to supervise the estate.
During his stay at Shahzadpur he wrote many books of verse like Nowkadubi, Sonar Tori, Drama Bishorjon, Chitra, Choitali as well as short stories like Postmaster and Panchobhuto.response / report this review -

It's located in Shahjadpur Upazila. It's now used as a museum. See the belongings of Rabindranath Tagore. It's frequently visited by many. You can find local restaurants nearby.
