  Shewra Para Branch of Pubali Bank Limited, the largest private commercial bank in Bangladesh. Pubali Bank was started as Eastern Mercantile Bank Limited in the year 1959 under Bank Companies Act 1913. After independence of Bangladesh in 1971 this Bank was nationalized and renamed as Pubali Bank. In the year 1983, Pubali Bank was denationalized as a private bank and renamed as Pubali Bank Limited.

  The governmental bank. Very busy in a local area. They take all utilities bill for the locals.
