Crowded place in one word but after the launch departs it become so calm. At east side there is a shop where you’ll get egg burger and tea. Worth a try.

First time in Patuakhali. Wide enough to accomodate 10 to 15 launches I think. Wide bridge and large terminal. Boarding on or off from the launches is convenient. Service seems good enough. No disturbance by the terminal porters. Liked it.

The Second Largest Launch Terminal of South Bengal. The 'Rotation System' of the Launch is making more vulnerable situation for passengers. However, 'Launch Journey' is much relaxing than any other journey.

Patuakhali Launch Station is adjacent to the Patuakhali town. It's the main hub for water communication within the district as well as with other district specially Dhaka. Every afternoon 3-4 launches leave the station for Dhaka. Ghat facilities are moderate. However, the natural beauty of the river is really nice

Launch station in Patuakhali district. People and goods are transporting from Patuakhali to many places but most importantly Barishal and Dhaka. Specially launces departs at 3:00 PM from here and arrives from Dhaka at early morning maybe 5-6 O'clock. So the time of departing and arriving, this place become crowd. Other times it becomes silent.

This is one of the main launch station for people who lives in southern part of Bangladesh. Operates 2(minimum) or 3 launches everyday from this station to Dhaka, Bangladesh. Launch departs this station within 5.00pm-5.30pm & reaches Dhaka next morning (usually 5.00am).

Patuakhali launch ghat is the most important place to go to Kuakata. You can come by launch from Dhaka. There are so many big, luxurious ship available on this route. After arriving patuakhali you can go anywhere in the south side of Bangladesh. All routes and buses are available from there.

I only visited once from Dhaka to Patuakhali and back. The station is okay. You have to personally go there to buy tickets in advance for cabins (1st class and VIP) unless you can manage a known as well as trusted person to book for you! The route is spectacular!
