  Its a police station, the Bengali name of police station is Thana. The government declared as Model Thana, when the rank of the comparative better then other police station with some defined role.

  পতেঙ্গা থানা। ২০০০ সালে যাত্রা শুরু হয়। এটি চট্টগ্রাম মহানগরীতে দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ের যে ৬টি থানা তার একটি। চট্টগ্রাম মহানগরীর দক্ষিণ-পশ্চিমপ্রান্তে যার অবস্থান।
