Most of the staffs behave like my teachers do.If you go there without managing their brokers by giving money, they will kick you out without showing any valid reason. If you're pure, You will be stuck in the middle for sure.
That's where we are living. But hopefully it will be free of corruption one day.

SUMMARY: Just their Process is digitalized, not those people. Surely An ugly place to visit.

I am sure that these people never heard the word: Customer service.
The document receiving & service delivery people are just worthless.
They are there just to harass you ONLY IF you don't submit your docs through an illegal agent. They will surely not accept your passport form & will make your life difficult but telling this & that fault.
In case if you prepare your documents without an agent, keep minimum 2/3 visits in your plan. Or get some connection/reference of any of their their officers.

This Divisional Passport Office is reasonably well facilities & good for local people. I visited this place since last July 2019 when I applied for Official Passport. But on that time they don't have enough official passport kota. They issued me general passport. I don't object this because on that time I have an urgency to visited India.

But official passport kota unavailable that time, so they have issued me general passport & that time I haven urgency to visited India, so I don't have any argument about general passport. Staff can be difficult to deal with however mostly cooperative.
If you came here to submit visa papers for extension visit before 2pm. ( Foreigners)
If you want to collect your visa then visit at or after 4pm and there will be waiting.

Carry something to keep you busy and occupied because mostly there will be waiting here. There's a waiting area with limited seating available though.

Washroom available and drinking water also available.

It has been three months my wife has applied for her passport. But the passport has not delivered yet. Its supposed to be delivered within 21 days of application. She went to passport office couples of time and asked them when she will get her passport, the officer hasn't provided any specific information, only said you will get the notification when passport will be ready. I called them last three consecutive days, but nobody pick the phone last three days except today. I explained the scenario to the officer, he said he has nothing to do with this, and relied as before you will get notification when passport will be ready, he hang up the phone abruptly. I don't know what to do. Its very frustrating, We are living in such a country where one like to take their own responsibilities. No one accountable for their own action.

This passport office is a place for great sufferings. Provided information is inconsistent between the official website passport.gov.bd and the officers in this passport office.
Proof 1:
The passport website says physically present in the passport office is required for only picture and signature change in case of reissue. But, the officers in this passport office saying that physically present is required for other situations such as address change and delivery of the reissued passport. If it was just written in their official website then people would have been informed accordingly and could be prepared from earlier.
Proof 2:
The reissue form found in the passport website is single page. But this Monsurabad passport office is supplying a reissue form that has two pages. The filled up single page reissue form was totally unacceptable from me. The reissue form filling has to be performed twice due to the wrong website entry.

This is a Regional Passport Office at Monsurabad in Chattogram. It's Government Organization. Peoples in Chattagram can make a new Passport and renew from this office. This Passport Office is neat and clean. Staffs are helpful in this office. To make a new Passport is easy now than before. Peoples who needs a new Passport can apply also online.

People come here even before opening the gate. There is ample security and the staff working here are helpful. Though sometimes they tend to scold people for their mistakes. I don't know why but the passport office takes more than a month or so to deliver the passport after applying.

A government office for making passports for BD citizens and visa office for foreigners.Passport office, is at Mansurabad, on Dhaka trunk road. It is very near to WAPDA Colony and Dewanhat Godowns. This office is surrounded by Boubazar, Mistri para, Sobuj bag, Abul Khair Group head office, Tiger pass Railway colony, PDB high school and DBBL Rocket and agent office.The staff are well behaved and helpful.Previous corruption has reduced, by filling in the online form and submit the pain is much less.However, the police verification to reduce corruption in the police is not a dime

once people used to face so much trouble during the application for passpost submission. But a present the officers are so co-operative and easy to contact. Though people have to stand in the queue for the processes, but the staffs are always active. Besides the brokers or agents can hardly grab the opportunity for any corruption.

The best government office I have seen in my life time. The staff are well behaved and helpful, something that you will never find anywhere else in Bangladesh.

They follow a well organized filing system, along with staff who aren't rude at all and are happy to guide you along the whole process. which again im mentioning. You will never in any other government office in this country.

Especially the AD and the DD, they have made this government office a shining example of what can be achieved under the right management. More government offices should aspire to be like this Passport Office.

If you go there you can understand that stem of digital, there are lot of difference in now and ago. Now there are a neat and film system for making passport. I really enjoyed my time there. Now it looks very easy to make a passport. You can deposit money online and you can fill up your form online.
