This the Third largest petroleum depot of Padma Oil Company Limited after it's Main Installation situated at Guptakhal, Patenga, Chittagong and Godenail depot situated at Godenail, Narayanganj. Thirteen (13) districts of south western region of Bangladesh depend on this depot to meet up their own fuel demand. Moreover petroleum depots of northern part of the country such as Parbatipur oil depot of Denajpur district, Natore oil depot and Rajshahi rail head depot are also feed up from Daulatpur Depot of Khulna.
