Situated at Baily Road, Dhaka, Officer's club is one of the most popular, prominent and awesome place Dhaka to organize any event whatever it is family occasion or any corporate meeting.
The club is large enough to occupy a good number of people and the environment is also very fantastic. Parking space is well managed but sometimes you may find it a bit strict and robotic due to imposed rules. There is also has some other facilities like swimming pool. This is one of the elite clubs in the city. Only government officers can be the member of this club. This club is governed by an elected committee. There are different halls for rent to organize different functions. There are arrangement for foods and snacks for members on payment. Food quality and taste are good.

Officer's club is a popular and a prominent one in Dhaka to organize any event whatever it is family occasion or any corporate meeting. The club is enough large to occupy a good number of people. The parking space is well managed but sometimes you may find it a bit strict and robotic due to imposed rules.
Officer's club also has some other facilities like swimming pool. You may learn and be a member of the club to swim here.

The members of this club are all govt. Officials retired or non- retired. Their families ( husbands, wives and children) are also have privileges. Having a community center here is a good addition. There are many other facilities for a nominal fees, but no playground for kids. So bring along the kids, they get bored easily.

Very delicate place to visit. Very recently I went there for submitting my tax returns in the tax fair. The gigantic hall was well decorated. Besides I went to attend weddings program several times. A beautiful place encircled by greenery.

A good place for wedding, birthday or another big member. They can arrange party for 3K people. But they are little bit expensive. they can provide delicious food, fine decoration depends on your budget.

It’s a place for government officers and their family members. The cafe is simple but nice. Service was good. Positive body language from staff. The food is tasty and very reasonably priced. If you know anyone who is a member of the club, you should make a visit to enjoy the food.

It is one of the best multi-purpose club in Dhaka however restricted for members only if anyone wants to enjoy club facilities. The halls they have can be rented by general people but to enjoy other facilities membership is needed. The restaurant in the second floor is very good. Superb food with a very minimal cost. Very good swimming pool facilities also.

This premises is a prohibited area and only the high level govt.officer,s who is a registered member of club are allowed to enter here. Besides this invited peoples can also visit this place.There is multi purpose usable two Convention Hall. Member may use this on rental basis with reduced rate.Interested non member can also use this if available without concession.

Great place. Very big space for large crowd. Neat and clean. Needs to educate who supplying and serving the food. They taking extra care of some people because they knew them and wanting tips, very very bad. They also complaining about the small tips. Club authority should care of this. Because we confirm the authority don't let anyone asking for the tips, we will give them tips after program finished. Over all great place.

The Officers' Club Dhaka is located very near to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Headquarters. This club is very good for large events like the Marriage Ceremony, Conference and, Symposium. It has a tennis court (3 courts), billiard and table tennis court and residential facilities which can be availed for its members only. The area is very secure coz government official residences are very close to this place. I visited this place to attend a marriage ceremony that was held in July 2018. I was excited to saw the green field in front of the Club. Foods served were very organize way. Good car parking options are available. wheelchair accessible entrance is available. No specific area for wheelchair parking but you can keep with the support of security officials.
This club is for high officials but other people can also rent the auditorium for the different type of events.
Rent for the place is a little bit expensive. Need to book the venue at list 1 month before. Price of the food is reasonable. The support service personnel are well behaved, trained and professional.response / report this review -

The place is good for the members to refresh having games, food and open space to breathe. Price of food is reasonable, though the quality could be improved. It is good for gathering, hosting family programs like marriage or birthday ceremony. Car parking facility is really lavish. The support service personnel are well trained and professional.

I have been to this place hundreds of times and not exactly fond of it. What i hate the most is when they play music at outrageous volume in the middle of the night on specific occasions like their anniversary or sth else. and also keeps on cracking continuous fireworks. it is just plain annoying. and the service quality isn't that great that i can overlook these negative sides.
Also the system that you have to book their selected caterers when booking the hall is frowned upon, i mean why won't i get to choose?response / report this review -

First class club facilities for government officers in Dhaka City.
There is an Executive Committee, which is elected by members of the club.
Top level Government officers are only members of the club and for them so many events are organized like River Cruise, Picnic, 31st Night etc.
There is a big convention hall where social festival are organized by members or other citizen. For member, there is a reduce rate for convention hall.

officer's club is an exclusive entity for it's members only. Officers in government services are entitled to be a member.
But government servant in BCS: admin are more favourite in getting membership.
the club facilitated with swimming pool, cards, housey, guest living, community hall, cafe, lawn tennis.
Swimming pool, community hall are available to non members on usual charges.
Member's friends and family members are allowed at Cafe.
Cafe is good for lunch, evening, and dinner.
its quality is good. fruite juices and ice creams are also served here.

Officers' Club, Dhaka was 'established in 1967. Besides government officers, other officers of semi-government or autonomous bodies, bank, insurance, etc. are eligible to apply for membership. The area of the club is 4.5 acres. An executive committee elected by members run it. The club has a library, hallroom, pavilion, swimming pool, health club and three tennis courts. There are many facilities to play badminton, table tennis, billiard, cards, chess and other indoor games. It has a women's committee that designs and implements social welfare activities. The club organise various types of meeting including mourning, history and heritage, major events, culture and liberation war of Bangladesh. It also meets on the occasion of national days, deaths and births anniversaries of celebrities. The club often raises funds for supporting disaster victims and other people who need it.
The club's fund is generated by renting out its facilities like pavilion, hallrooms. Its major income comes from renting its halls to wedding receptions and other conference purposes. Its membership now stands at over three thousands.response / report this review -

Great place for arranging programs. There is a two-storied conventional hall here, which can be rented for occasions. Most people prefer it for wedding reception. You can book only one floor if you need. So there can be two wedding parties on two floors at the same time! Holidays and weekends are mostly preferred, so plan and book early. Apart from the conventional hall there’s swimming pool and tennis court here for the club members.

One of the best clubs. I keep on visiting here from my childhood for my family member being a member of this club. Lovely swimming pool, cafeteria, tennis court, squash centre, library and the main convention centre is decorated with interior design quite beautifully
