Noakhali Government College was founded on 1 March 1963. It was nationalize in 1968. It is standing on land area of 1.22 acre. And the land was given by Mr. Chintaharan Chatterjee. The first principal of this college was Mr. A.k. Mohammad Ullah. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) started in this college in first July, 1963. Degree (Pass) started in this college in 1965. After creating National University, the college came under it. And then, the honours level started in 1991 and the masters (finale) started in 1995.

noakhali college have two different part.one is new campus and the another is old campus.hsc students complete their academic studies in old campus.and Bsc bba, others can do it from new campus.if u need to know any inquires about college,or subject, u havee to go new campus.and we have 5 department for different subjects.my subject is mathematic lol
we have many teachers to help us on different subject we study inbut campus don't have many important facilities. recently our campus faculty have a new building. and its new and updated I admire it.but I don't know why!! maybe it's because noakhali government college is public college so the environment behind the college is not good.and people leave their domestic animals to eat grass on our campus fieldand outsiders can enter also..but if u want to study its good for u.teachers are friendly.
