Nawab Faizunnessa Government Girls' High School is a girls' school in Comilla, Bangladesh, Established in 1873 by Faizunnesa Choudhurani, who would in 1889 be titled India's only female nawab by Queen Victoria. Faizunnessa, a wealthy zamindar, established Faizunnessa Girls' Pilot High School, having noted the need for female education which would accommodate Muslim girls practising purdah.The school taught its children in the local Bengali language rather than Urdu or Persian which were the standard languages of education at the time. The students also learned English. During the early years of its establishment, it was treated as the English medium school for girls. It was converted to a junior high school in 1889, and to a high school in 1931.

I am a student of this school.It is one of the best school in Comilla.It is located at the Badurtala area.Every year it achieve proudfull result in board exams.It is also wellknown for it's co curriculer activites.It was established by the geat woman Nawab Faizunnesa Chaudhorani in 1873.She was faund the digree of Nawab by queen Victoria.She impresed Victoria so much by her social work.When the school was established it was an English meddium school.She established the school 7 years before the birth of Begum Rokeya.She also established many other schools, colleges and madrashas.she also established hospital.She has also written a book named Rup Jalal. After this she became famous in the whole country.But it is a matter of great sorrow that we are failled to give her diserving place in her own district and also in the whole country.

Nawab Faizunnessa Government Girls' High School is a famous girls' school in Comilla. Also One of the best schools in Comilla City. It's established in 1873 by Faizunnesa Choudhurani. estd-1873. It's have a Huge Campus & there are 3000 or more students are studied here.

One of the best schools in Comilla City, estd-1873. Huge Campus & its students are about 3000. I visited here for a different purpose. For "Tree for Mankind" organization, we gifted 900 tree plants to the girls who have own space to plant on 15th July, 2017. Madam(Headmistress) helped us to do that in a very organized way.
