Great museum! In general we are not much impressed by most museums we have visited in Asia. But this one really stands out of the crowds! It give a really detailed and in depth overview of the British colonial time and the war for indepence with Pakistan that followed. We were shocked to discover so many stories and details that they don't teach us in school. Definitely recommend you to go and visit the museum when you're in Dhaka. It's also a great escape from the busy and dusty city ;-)

Amazing! The entrance enough is enough to give one the chills, and the architecture is superb. Entry tickets are only 20 taka per person, which the museum will more than make up for. Make sure to also check out the library, for some amazing vintage posters (or books) from 1971 at reasonable prices.

The day I visited this museum (27th October 2017) has been one of the best days of my life. I stayed there for 2 hours and enjoyed every single second. Visiting this museum is a must for all Bangladeshis, as they should know about our journey to Joy Bangla.

I believe this museum will soon become the most famous museum in Bangladesh. 💕💕💕
