Bangabandhu National Stadium also known as Dhaka Stadium, and formerly known as Dacca Stadium, is the national stadium and a multipurpose sports arena in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is located in the Motijheel area in the heart of the city. The stadium has been renovated several times, most recently for the opening ceremony of the 2011 Cricket World Cup. It had a capacity close to 55,000 before the most recent renovation, but with a new capacity of 36,000 it is still the largest stadium in Bangladesh.

Banga Bandhu National Stadium. Located in Gulisthan. One of the oldest and popular stadium in Bangladesh as well as Dhaka city. Formerly this was the only stadium in Dhaka city and most of the important games of cricket and football played over here. the premiere division leagues is also played over here. surrounded by this stadium, many kind of shop is available here. Electronics to furniture most of the items showrooms are available here.

This is a stadium cum market place. Mostly known for electronics and sports shop. But the area is very busy. Car parking is sometimes hard to get. Public Security is a concern here for parked car. If self driving You need to keep your eye to avoid parts stolen .

Bangabandhu national stadium is the oldest stadium of Dhaka city. It is located in Motijheel area in the heart of the city. It is used for multipurpose sports events like football, run, cricket (recent past). Some cultural events also happened there like 26th March celebration, concert etc. It is now given to Bangladesh Football Federation. They run their event round the year. Many International and national level football matches took place here. Bangladesh cricket team play their inaugural test match versus India cricket team here at 2000.

National stadium in Bangladesh. This is not very big but very beautiful. This is football stadium. Car parking is available & ground floor is market.

This is the largest stadium in Bangladesh. Now a days, only football match is played here along with track and field competition. However, the inaugural test match cricket of Bangladesh took place here and it was an important milestone in the history of Bangladesh cricket.
