  Narayanganj municipality (municipality) was converted to Narayanganj City Corporation on 5th May 2011. Narayanganj City Corporation is formed with Narayanganj City, Siddhirganj municipal area and Kamderasul Municipality of Bandar upazila.
  
  Ward number 1 to 9 winners have been declared as City Corporation's wards 1 to 9 wiped out of Siddhirganj Municipality. Mijamiji Bantan Para in Pinnadi East part of Siddhirganj has been ward number 1. Wards of 1 to 3 were reserved for women as reserved seats. Narayanganj Municipality has been dissolved and its 9 wards have been listed as City Corporations wards 10 to 18. Three female wards reserved for this municipality were declared wards of 4 to 6. The ward of 9 Kundam Municipality of Bandar upazila was abolished and the wards of City Corporation 19 to 27 were listed as wards. The Teen Ward of the municipality was declared as City Corporation 7 to 9 ward.

  This is City Mayor Office. It was Narayanganj Municipality.Former Narayanganj Municipality was constituted on 8 September 1876 to control an area of 4.5 square miles with a population of 27,876.The city was commissioned as an urban administrative unit in British period. During 1766. Now this is Narayanganj City Corporation.
