B L S Handling Jame Mosque

  Before the liberation of Bangladesh, this mosque was built in Pakistan period. It was the mosque of that period, then its name was PLS Handling Jame Mosque. P means Pakistan, and after the independence of Bangladesh, it has replaced B instead of. It is located in the heart of Mongla and it is the largest mosque in Mongla. It is also possible to pray for many people at the same time during the Eid, although many people can pray there, though there is central Eidgah in Mongla.
  বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হওয়ার পূর্বে পাকিস্তান আমল এ মসজিদ নির্মাণ করা হয়েছিল। এটা সেই সময়ের মসজিদ তখনকার এটার নাম ছিল PLS হ্যান্ডলিং জামে মসজিদ। P দ্বারা পাকিস্তান বুঝানো হয় ফলে বাংলাদেশ স্বাধীন হবার পর এটি এর পরিবর্তে B বসানো হয়েছে। মঙ্গলার একেবারে প্রাণকেন্দ্রে অবস্থিত এবং বাংলার সবচেয়ে বড় পরিসরের মসজিদ এটি। একসাথে অনেক মানুষ সেখানে নামায পড়তে পারে এর জন্য ঈদের সময়ও এটাকে নামাজ পড়ার জন্য বেছে নেওয়া হয় যদিও মংলায় কেন্দ্রীয় ঈদগা রয়েছে।
