Monipur High School and College ( Main Branch, boys section) is located at Monipur of Mirpur. This school section is just adjacent to the 60 feet road. The Borobag mor is 50yeard ahead of this school. This school is very well known and prestigious school in Dhaka. Every year students of this school score a very good result. It has all three section like science, arts and commerce group. A huge number of student is studying this school.

Monipur High School used to be one of the greatest schools in Bangladesh. A man named Morhum Nur Muhammad created this school on 1969.
Monipur High School started to lose It's qualities after 2013. So many of the great teachers were accused and arrested for false issues and the schools reputation fell apart. This school looks nice from the outside probably. But It's teaching qualities and how the kids are growing up is not at all suitable.

Monipur High School & College (Bengali: বাংলায়ঃ মনিপুর উচ্চবিদ্যালয় ও কলেজ) is a secondary school & college located in Mirpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The school is also known as Monipur Uccha Viddalaya Ebong College(MUBC). In 2007, 2008 and 2009, the school ranked 3rd and in 2010 and 2011 the school ranked 6th and 7th & 8th in 2012 Secondary School Certificate examination under the Dhaka Education Board. And in 2012, 2013 and 2014 this school ranked first in the PEC Examination. Monipur High School stood first on 2011, 2012 & 2013 on the PSC (Samapony) exam.

Around 35,500 students, including boys and girls, are currently studying at Monipur High School & College.

The school secured the 2nd position in in terms of securing highest number of first divisions in the primary terminal examinations across the country. A total of 1,516 students achieved first division from Viqarunnisa Noon School and College while 1,126 from Monipur High School & College and 962 from Ideal School and College.

652 students scored A+ (or GPA 5.0) in 2008 and 556 students achieved the same in 2009, placing the school in the top three in Bangladesh's GPA 5 based schools ranking.

Following demands to enroll more students, the school authorities opened two more branches in Dhaka city, while the main campus at Monipur continues to operate with its decade old tradition since 1969.

The school has achieved second place in the evaluation examination of class Eight held under the Department of Secondary and Higher Education.

Monipur High School opened its college section in 2008. The section, with about 500 students, is situated at the Ibrahimpur branch of the school.

This is one of the best schools of Bangladesh. I love this school. This school teaches the students good behaviour, discipline and manners. This used to be my home. I found my soul in here. This school used to provide great and helpful education till 2014. I met my best teachers and people of life for it.
But after that something went wrong. Everything fell apart.Butt there is still hope when I meet some of my juniors. I still have high hopes for this one. Allah may bless it again.
