A huge gathering at the area. The historic place is a junction of many people go to Narail, Khulna and other eastern places. The theatre is not busy now. During festivals it becomes very crowded. A few temporary shops make obstacles on the clear visibility of it now. I suggest proper care of the historic theatre to the competent athurity.

Monihar is a very famous cinema hall in Bangladesh. The architecture is ancient but grat. Though the washroom is dirty, the main hall is clear enough and the air-conditions are working properly. A great place to enjoy movie with family or with your loved ones. But remember, this is an old cinema hall, so don't expect too much.

Largest cinema hall in Bangladesh. Nice environment. Sound and picture quality is good. Restroom is clean. Ticket price is reasonable. Timing is good and right on time. The hall is in the good place and near the main road. So it is a good advantage. Overall a good quality cinema hall of Bangladesh.

Monihar Cinema Hall was South Asia's largest Hall. It's architectural design is still one of the best designs of all time. By time it has lost its elegance but still it's open and show different Cinema.

A walk through the memory lane. One if oldest cinema hall of the region. Waiting through the alley will give you essence of its glorious past. Pictures of the superstars of Bangla movie visiting the place. Not sure about the theater quality as I haven’t seen a movie here. Have a walk, spend some time- you will love it.

A 2 star quality hotel in jessore city. Not bad, but need to modifying with modern technology. As there has very old types technology machines. But as the biggest chinema hall in Asia, this is historic. Recommended it

Monihar Cinema Hall (মনিহার সিনেমা হল) was the largest one in Bangladesh. It was built during 1984 (more than 34 years from now) by someone named Sirjul Islam (সিরাজুল ইসলাম). It is a four stored cinema hall having around 1500 seats. They owner circulated an advertisement on paper by asking a beautiful name for his new cinema hall. And they have chosen the name Monihar (মনিহার).

This is a very famous and old cinema hall of Bangladesh. I am an Indian and actually I don't know anything about this cinema hall but once upon a time (probably in 1980s) my father was gone there and had gotten the opportunity to watch a movie. He was overwhelmed by the madness of the crowd. Later he told me that incident and now I recognise that cinema hall at the Google Map. So that I share the sweet memory of my father.

Film conversations, sounds, and music are served on several wall presses or speakers placed on the wall. Since the 1970s, the use of sub-Ufa type wordpresses for the words of lower frequencies is used. In the decade of 2010, digital film projection technology is being used in most movie theaters. As a result, the need for creating and displaying huge relay films is gone.

One of the most historical cinema hall of Bangladesh. At past people from around the country used to come here. Now this hall has lost its attraction. However this cinema hall is still in operation. Popular bangla movies are still shown here. The capacity of the hall has s huge. Upper side is called DC and it's very comfortable to sit and watch movies.

Nice sound quality. Sits are enjoyful. Big space inside this hall . There's separate ladies waiting benches. Indian cinemas also runs this hall.
