The post office building is one of the ancient building of this area. Once upon a time there was living the British nil "kor shaheb"(who cultivated the blue trees by the people of this area). The Bangladesh government remade the roof of this building but the wall are remain same as was in the British period.
In this building there was also situated the central land office of pryagpur union of Daulatpur upozila.
In front of the building there are a big play ground and the bus station.
After all this area is a very charming place
