Mograpara H. G. G. S. Smrity Biddyatan is known as Mograpara High School which was established in 1934. It's located in Baranagar, Sonargaon. The small forms are underlying H for Hari, G for Gowra, G for Gavinda, and S for Shaym Sundor. These four hindu pupil put a great contribution to establish this High school by donating land. Current governing committee of this school including Ex Chairman Mosharrof Hossain, Alam, union chairman Babu and many others. Present Headmaster of this School is Mujibur Rahman. The school is now regarded as Government high school. There are two shifts exist in this school - Morning shift for girls and Afternoon shift for Boys. Approximately 5000 students study here and teachers availability is also in a average ratio compared to the students. The school has three buildings for students. 2 buildings are 3storeyed and another is 5 storeyed. It's a quite big school i will definitely say. The statistics of JSC and SSC result is good. Teachers teaches the students very well and they maintain good responsibility, Take caring, monitoring and controlling for the betterment of the students. This school has a big playground and this playground is popularly known as Mograpara School field. In this playground there are many tournaments got arranged by the local cricket and football lovers in several times. In winter season local youngsters play Badminton at night in this playground. In this place there are good facilities for car parking, availability of pure drinking water, nearest shop, markets, hotel and resorts. The Sonargaon college is also situated nearby. The road besides this school is called the Grand Trank Road which has a long traditional value and the river beside the road is called Menikhali river which is connected directly with Meghna River. The most amazing fact is the Sonargaon Folk Art and Craft Museum, Panam city are also located nearby. Also the Sonargaon Royal Resort which is a luxurious resort is located in some footstep distance. People can visit and enjoy the place and the ancient building of King Esha Khan. After all I must say, this school and the locality is awesome.
