That place is used as a museum too, which is named as Mir Mosharrof Hossain Memorial Museum. Inside the Museum, visitors may not discover a significant number of collections. But, a few collections will make the visitor remember the lifestyle of this great novelist. There are only some agricultural tools, chairs, glasses and some armors used by Mir Mosharraf Hossain is being displayed for the visitors. There are some rare and historical photographs too.

মীর মশাররফ হোসেন উনবিংশ শতাব্দীর সর্বশ্রেষ্ট মুসলিম সাহিত্যিক রুপে খ্যাত ‘বিষাদ সিন্ধুর’ অমর লেখক মীর মশাররফ হোসেন ১৮৪৭ সালের ১৩ই নভেম্বর কুষ্টিয়া শহর থেকে তিন মাইল পূর্বে গড়াই ব্রীজের নিকটস্থ লাহিনীপাড়া গ্রামে ভূ-সম্পত্তির অধিকারী এক ধনাঢ্য পরিবারে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন। তাঁর পিতার নাম ছিল মীর মোয়াজ্জ্বেম হোসেন এবং মাতার নাম দৌলতন নেছা।
তাঁর পূর্ব পুরুষ সৈয়দ সা’দুল্লাহ বাগদাদ থেকে প্রথমে দিল্লীতে এসে মোগল সেনা বাহিনীতে চাকুরী গ্রহণ করেন। পরে তিনি ফরিদপুর জেলার স্যাকরা গ্রামে আগমন করে এক হিন্দু ব্রাক্ষণ কণ্যার পাণি গ্রহণ করে পদমদী গ্রামে স্থায়ীভাবে বসবাস আরম্ভ করেন। মীর মশাররফ হোসেনের পিতা মীর মোয়াজ্জম হোসেন কুষ্টিয়ার লাহিনীপাড়া গ্রামের ভূস্বামী ছিলেন।response / report this review -

You may enjoy the exhibition inside the Museum & several adjacent features along with that. This Place remains closed on Sundays. You may find hotels & restaurant at Lalon Bus Stand.

Mir Mosharraf Hossain ( মীর মশাররফ হোসেন ) is well known for his famous book " Bishadh Shindhu " ( বিষাধ সিন্ধু ) His Memorial Complex is a renowned place of Rajbari district. It has announced as a national heritage place by Bangladesh Govt. Mir Mosharraf Hossain has been buried here with three family members - his wife , brother Mir Mokarram Hossain and brother's wife. There are different rooms in the Complex - Guest room , VIP guest room , Director's room , Library , Conference room , Dining room etc. Some rooms are fully air conditioned too . It is open 5 days in a week from 9:00 am - 5:00pm ( 1 pm - 2 pm Lunch Hour ) . It remains close Friday , Saturday and any Govt. holidays. Anyone can visit here to know more about this Famous Person Mir Mosharraf Hossain .
