  Melandah umir uddin pilot high is one of the oldest high school in melandah thana and one of the greatest educational institute in melandah. It was named after Umir uddin talukder . it was established in 1937 . A great educational institute with many academic buildings with a mind blowing play ground . I was also a student in this school. This school has over 1000 students .And there are many well qualified teachers . This school has a nice view in a nice place . There are also a primary school named 23 no Model Primary School. There are also a school pond . Overall it is a great educational institute .
