This stadium is use for international hockey matches. But nowadays, this stadium is mainly uses for sports as well as varieties of electronics market. This stadium is loosing its attraction so authorities need to take some necessary steps to save this stadium. It is the first hockey stadium in Bangladesh and also the headquarters of Bangladesh Hockey Federation. Capacity 10,000 & Field size 100 x 64 m. This is the only national hockey stadium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This is a big stadium with a big outdoor practice field space. This stadium is use for international hockey matches. It Is A stadium For Hockey. There is A Market also where you can find sports accessories at a reasonable price.Good Place Ro Hockey. But I Think It needs Some more Upgrade for sanitation. The area seems to be very crowdy. Out side the stadium the Environment Doesnot seems to be good enough.To go there any where from dhaka You can use lulic transport Like local Bus which Most of the time seems to be over crowded. But Fortunately You can use Uber And Pathao Services For come from any place in dhaka. Otherwise I recommand to use CNG.

Shops are surrounded round the stadium mainly sports goods and electronics. Recently the artificial turf has been replaced for the Asia Cup which was held in October this year.
