  It is 2.5 hours car distance from Tangail town. The road in Gopalpur Upozila(Last 1 hour) is not so good. The mosque place is very beautiful, the river "Jhinai" is flowing just behind the western boundary of the mosque. It is a record that the mosque has 201 domes. But it is not artistic & not good looking. And the front-stairs is also not compatible with this type of design(If ground floor is not the part of mosque, ie-parking, market then this type of front-stairs would be good looking. Like Baitul Mukarrom Mosque)

  It is known that it will the biggest mosque in the country having 201 gumbuj. But its funding source is yet to be known.
