Nice hostel for medical sudents of Mymensingh Medical college and Hospital. Situated just walking distance from medical college. Nice environment, a big ground for playing Cricket, Football and most of games, a big gymnastic. A big pond also here but bow a days its full of variety grass and plants. Once upon a time that pond is playing a vital role for this areas people, moat of the people around this hostel used to swim and bath on this pond. Over all a nice environment for student.

One of the oldest boys' hostels in Bangladesh. Established as dormitory of Litton Medical School back in 1924. As the need of medical personnel grows since Bangladesh got freedom in 1971, the college building shifted to the present campus in the year 1972 as well as the transformation of the old college buildings into hostel for accommodation of evergrowing student population. It now consists of 2 semi-pacca tin sheds; Guyton & Harper, 3 two-storied; Anatomy, Physiology & New, three-storied; West & four-storied Main building. At present a two-storied building at the place of currently non-existent Grey building is underconstruction. Currently the hostel accommodating almost 500+ students from first year to internship.

The level of facilities, being a government medical college hostel, is underwhelming. Students suffer a lot, having difficulties in accommodation, dining, even in sanitation. During heavy rains, water stands tall here and there, owing to very poor drainage system. The students always have to cope with such adverse situations. Staffs responsible for maintaining the hostel are nothing but close to useless. We can hardly call it a hostel, if it becomes a place for public pleasure. Don't really expect much of an improvement in the future, seeing the situation as it is. But nevertheless this is the place where we all MMC boys grow up to being a doctor of our country. Harsh it may be, living life here, yet it will remain always in our hearts, being a place of cherish. Where we will want to come back, again and again, reliving the long past memories.
