Lechi (Litchi Cines's Sona) family is in Sapindesi and in sub-family Nefilo. It is one of the largest sub-tropical evergreen fruit trees in Bangladesh. The other members of the sub-family 'Anfal' (Euphoria Lunna Lam) also grew up in Bangladesh, mostly in back-outs It carries long type but small commercial quality small size.
Latechi is a very valuable, popular and main table fruit in Bangladesh. When it comes to the month of May-June, the market is filled with other fresh fruits, especially mango and jackfruit. However, if the variety of fruits are available in the market, the demand for fresh litchi is always very high due to its taste, taste and color. Litchi supply is inadequate and its availability is almost 60 days. High quality crops of elite cultivation like 'Bidan' and 'China-3' are in short supply due to their limited area coverage. Litchi is about 2.5 metric tons per hectare, which is less than other countries.
There is no authentic documentation available in the history of lio cultivation in Bangladesh. However, it is believed that Likki came from Bangladesh in Burma in the early 19th century. Farmers, such as Mujfarpuri and Indian seedbeds of Bombay, were introduced by the efforts of nursery and plant lovers from West Bengal to the beginning of the ninth century. Liquid is mainly cultivated on backwards (2-3 plants), or in very small gardens (15 to 20 trees) located beside the accommodation.
2. Current conditions of literacy culture
Lacey grew almost everywhere in Bangladesh but the main parts of Jessore, Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dinajpur, Khulna, Dhaka, Kushtia, Sylhet and Chittagong districts were cultivated. Litchi has increased well in the government halls of the three hill districts, Rangamati, Khagrachari and Bandarban and Jamalpur, Rajbari, Meherpur, Chapainawabganj and Comilla. The spread of the Liki area of this district is relatively slow due to the high mortality rate of young litchi trees. Most farmers and extension agents do not have the necessary knowledge and skills to cultivate, so that interested farmers often fail to establish new eligibility.
Currently, about 4,800 hectares of litchi cultivation and total annual production is around 12,800 metric tons.response / report this review -

বাংলাদেশের মধ্যে সবচেয়ে ভাল লিচু দিনাজপুরের লিচু। এই অঞ্চলে প্রচুর লিচু চাষ হয়। দিনাজপুরের লিচু অত্যন্ত সুস্বাদু। বাংলাদেশের ৮০% লিচুর চাহিদা মেটে এই অঞ্চলের লিচু দিয়ে। দিনাজপুরের লিচুর মধ্যে মাশিমপুর লিচু গার্ডেনের লিচু সব থেকে গুনে,মানে ও স্বাদে সেরা।
