This Place has restrictions with time, not for civilians who doesn’t like time bindings. Service isn’t good enough. Food menu is very limited with 2/3 items.

Their service is very very poor. Staffs behaviour is not welcoming at all. If you are not from defence this place is not for you. They only surves their officer with top priority and the other guests are not matter to them. If you ask for anything in good case scenario they will tell they doesn’t have it or they will not even answer your queries. A very bad place to spend your leisure time. But the place is very neat and clean. Overall not recommended.

One cook & one helper. They are working for only room guest. Food quality good. Surrounding scenic beauty excellent Managef by Bangladesh Army.

Not too good but also not so bad either. Swimming pool did not have clean water. It actually was refilled using water from the lake. We did not face problem in our food order but I saw others who had to wait long time before getting any food. Some even did not get their selected items because their inventory got depleted.

A good place for holiday refreshments. As the place is under under Bangladesh Army's authority, the place is fully secured till you do any harm to yourself. They have a swimming pool too. You can enjoy that also.

I spent best night in lake view island. But swimming pool was not good. They clean 1 time in a week.

What a great view of the area! An unique combination of blue water and green nature. A beautiful place to stay and enjoy the calmness of nature.
An Army owned fully furnished deluxe suite.

We didnt have any photos or any clue about this place. But when i heard that this place is built and originated by Bangladesh Army then by heart i knew this place would be the best place to have a relax and calm holiday.
This place is total silent, cozy and the rooms are nicely decorated and you will feel the comfort of home. Also the veranda is nice. Theres a nice glass room where you can sit and enjoy the enchanting view of kaptai lake. And hot weather is not an issue at all as theres air cooler everywhere. Talking about relaxation, you will find comfy resting benches on the right spot where you can sit and just enjoy the fresh weather and view. Theres also dedicated boats that are comfortable and you can use them to have a boat ride at kaptai lake.
As this place is kinda less crowdy as not everybody is allowed, you can still relax as Army provides the best security there.
Theres also two tree house right in the shore which are connected through a thrilling hanging bridge. A glass beneath gives you the thrill.
Talking about food, you can get fresh tasty lake fish and different fish dishes. The true Bangali food.
Theres also a nice luxury yacht that you can hire and spend night on.
Overall this place is too relaxing and you will enjoy every moment. A must vusit place.
Downside is, you will have to accompany a army person to get every facility without restrictions.response / report this review -

A great step from Bangladesh Army.
earlier it was a army unit. but after the peace agreement between shantibahini and bangladesh government, the indigenous people started revolting saying that they want no more army units around chittagong hill tracts! then 2 years back the government started pulling off the army units from many places in CHT. this unit was also a unit like those.
but army didn't leave the chance after seeing the beauty of that place. they made it a holiday resort. from where the kaptai damn is well visible.response / report this review -

Finally a secured place by Bangladesh Army to stay a night in such scenic place. But standard needs to be upgraded more as it is maintained by junior officers only whose job is not to maintain hotel rooms. Need hotel and hospitality professionals. The boat room(neelkouri) is beautiful option to stay the night on water.
