Whatever I tell, it will not be sufficient to describe our KPC. KPC is not a college, its a family where thousands of hearts have been together.
Once, the land of KPC was a govt. asset. In most probably 1960, it had been decided to establish a govt. higher secondary school on the land and with a view to this govt. made a building. But as the liberation war started, the Pakistani military made it their shelter. After our country achieved its indepence, the college building and the hostel building started to be used as a jail, where the Pakistanis were prisoned. The then secratary of Education Ministry, Quazi Azhar Ali tried hard to establish a college here. The KPC family still remembers him with profound respect. At last on January 20, 1987, Quazi Azhar Ali inaugurated a school and college here, named 'Sundarbans Boys' School and College', which was renamed in 1988 as "KHULNA PUBLIC COLLEGE".

Khulna Public College is one of the best colleges of Jashore Education Board. Its absolutely a matter of proud that I was a student of Khulna Public College. Its a boys' school and college. Students can be admitted here from class 3. The EIIN number of Khulna Public College is 117111. There are two shifts; morning and day. About four thousand students read here. And there is a residential house which name is "Kazi Azhar Ali House." About one hundred students can stay there..

The place where spent almost ten years of my life. The most important time of my childhood. These place is where I grew up. All the respected teachers, the officials are still in hall of fame of the mind. Can still close my eyes and have the smell of the grass and soil of KPC.
